Yes - the loads of sponsership in fishing is at a minimum very tiresome. But we fisherpeople are amazing consumers!

IMO one of the reasons this site is so great is that it avoids a lot of the sales pitches. A lot of weekend warriors willing to trade tips just for the sake of improving everyones knowledge. I think Bobber has done an amazing job setting up the site so that the promos are in the appropriate spots but don't overpower.
