Heading down to the jock for a couple of hours tomorow for some piketacular action (i hope!).
Havn't fished the jock in about 4 years (except for the jock-rideau junction).....any suggestions?
JOCK RIVER suggestions
My suggestion would be to throw a canoe in and fish the whole river.
Looks like this may be my 1st year not fishing the Jock and I have fished most of it in the past.
She won't give up a lot of fish but when she does it's great.
The furthest south I have fished is to the 1st bridge in Richmond coming from BarrHaven and it's all good. Sorry I never fished it from shore and can't recommend a spot.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions!!
I was actually there last Sunday for about an hour and a half. I only had one bite and it bit me off...so I'm guessing pike. Hit a walleye grub. I tried throwing bigger baits (w/ steel leader ) but to no avail.
Wish I had more time to explore this river....damn midterms
