Great day out

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

It was a beauty day to be out. Beats sitting around the house suffering .

WIG these are alot easier to clean then the 6 - 8". They made for a great supper last night, and a good snack for lunch today. :D :P :D

The BIG girls should start to show up in a couple weeks. Need to rest for then.

Hi Fishing Freak.

Nice catch! That's one tub-o-lard perch.

It's always great to hear you got out. I like to think you get the upper hand on your illness every time you go fishing. :D

Thanks scuro

They are a beauty fish when they get that big. The colours are so bright on these bigger fish.

Thanks Wolfe

I haven't beat the kidney or back problem yet. But I'll be damned if i'll let it beat me this soon. The fishing is few and far between right now, but that will change soon.(insert crossed finger smilie here)

I have to go in on the 7th of Feb for x-rays, ct scan, and an ultrasound.
seems the prednisone's side effect are getting to the hip also. :x  :x
Hopefully it turns out to be nothing. But the hip started acting up a couple days ago. They're running tests to check the extent of the back damage, and to make sure the hip is not deteriorating because of the pills. The Kideny's are currently holding back the options on the back treatment.

After these tests on Tues. we will have a better idea on what we are able to do with the back, If anything. The Kidney's will take time, I came to terms with that months ago. Now with the thought of the hip going too, Well, bring it on, Just more time i'll have to make up fishing.

It's gonna take time, but when I get better, the fish are in deep trouble.

I'll be ready for the cats at Ivy Lea, and Walleye opener.

FF take care of yourself, I sure hope that those test give you good news
on Tue. At least you're catching some good fish when u do go out, I heard that nothing is better for the back than a good feed of perch. That's what I heard. It's an old native saying. My neighbour is native and he knows all those stories and knows nature also. I asked him if we were going to have a cold winter and he said yes it's going to be really cold. So I asked him how he could know that. He answered " White man cut lotsa wood"

Hope you get better soon
