lake ontario south shoreline trolling

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

lake ontario south shoreline trolling

Post by steve-hamilton »

Hit the big lake today in search of some trout....Water temps were a nice 37 degrees, far from freezing.....dont think we going to have any freezing on Lake Ontario this year...(i bet Quinte is open as well)

We trolled for a few hours and casted for an hour, and went 1/2 for our efforts. George managed his first Brown Trout, so he was a happy fisherman...She took a spoon off the rigger on bottom.

What a gorgeous day to be on the water. Dead calm, 3 degrees, JANUARY 22nd....wow.
