Niagara Dec. 27th-29th....

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Niagara Dec. 27th-29th....

Post by RJ »

Well after last years Epic trip to Niagara we began making plans for this year about a week after being home last year....

Conditions looked bad....nearly cancelled but with some great updates from some great guys.....we were on our way!

Trailering Muskiemagnets Lund....meeting Markus, Salmon, and Jammer on Day One....Ransome, Magnet and I made the trek overnight on
Boxing Day....

Arriving at Queenston for about 6 AM....Markus and Salmon with Jammer in tow arrived shortly after us.....and out to the Bar we went...Moosebunk joined us for Day 2 and 3....nice to see the Bunker again...

We had 2 great days of weather....hovering around 4-5 degrees...winds were down for the most part....Day 3 saw the winds pick up to approx 6-8 footers at the Bar....I looked down for about a minute to tie a knot....and was done.....nearly launched the cookies....

We picked up right where we left off last year....slaying the Lakers!

Double and Triple headers were prevelant....

Magnet had brought two nets.....the best idea ever!....Salmon knew we were into them big time when he saw us simply netting our own fish and chucking back over the side without a picture....

Here's the pics from the 3 days....Our numbers were big....more than last year... What a Blast!

What a great trip!....Loads of laughs...fish and great company....

Ran into a bunch of HawkTalkers on Day 2....nice to see you fellas made it out.....and always great to see yas again!

Hoss.....I believe you owe us a Clinic fee....

:D I noticed you guys were trying to keep a low profile. The man to beat for most fish in a day is RJ..he managed 14 one day. We will be after his crown next year.

RJ & All You Other Laker Success Stories...

GREAT REPORT AND ANGLING IDOL-WORTHY PICTURES, GUYS!

Those fish must be an absolute BLAST to fight.

This pic cracks me up.

All are in their foul weather gear, dressed for the winter chill. Except Arctic Circle Bunk, sporting a flannel shirt. Too funny!

Fun read, RJ. Nice to see Markus's mug again.

W.
Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.
