Fall Chrome over TroutSlayers way!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

WOW, what great pics, Troutslayer! That stretch looks like a fun place to fish, with some tempting spots to explore / cast to.

I really enjoyed your post. Those fish are gorgeous, as I've said before!

Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.

Thanks Wolfe, the water was very low, which made hanging onto the big ones in the sticks real tuff. When the river is up, there is more room to "stear" or point the fish away from the snags.

We'll be posting more in the weeks ahead! :D

A couple of those pics look like they could have come right out of a Tourism Ontario broshure.

Well done TS.

Like I've said before and will say again TS, I love the photography and the majestic places you fish, but more than that are the trout from these spots you seem to have the knack for catching.

Great post as always bud. :D

A friend and i are planning a day trip soon to a place like that for some steelies... trying to decide on either heading to NY somewhere, and eastern trib or a Lake E trib- not sure as we've never really fished much outside of our area ... i hope the senery and action is as hot as you have there!!

If I lived in your area, I would really be temped to fish some of the New York tribs that get real big runs of fall Brown Trout.
