well just got back from fishin perch this afternoon on simcoe. when we got down to the boat launch the shores were crowded with people fishin, and they were pulling in some nice perch as well. so we go to a spot we haqve caught them before and stayed on that spot for the rest of the time. droped down my aqua view and the perch were everywhere chasing minnows. droped our minnows down and bang fish on. we kept 20 fish from 8- 10.5 inches (one smaller because of swallowing the hook). but while we were fishing with our ultra light rods tinbanger had a hit, he set the hook and line just started to peel of his reel, this went on for about 5 seconds and SNAP! line broke, could have been a big bass or a pike but o well. here is a pic of our fish.
