Hot Muskie Bite tonight....

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Hot Muskie Bite tonight....

Post by RJ »

Gordo and I planned to hit the Ottawa tonight for an after work fish.....muskies on the docket for the night.....

I PM'd him our location....and our tactic.....it was back to casting....trolling hadn't produced anything for us last time out.....so it was time to change it up.....and different areas too......back to an area I used to fish alot......and boy did it pay off!

Gotta love it when a plan comes together..... :D

I'll start with Gordo's.....a very fat for this time of year 36 incher...came off a steep drop near weeds.....10 inch walleye Beleiver....

Image

Next up is my 2nd largest to date.... :D

She ate a black/yellow inline bucktail......attacked the bait on landing....never got to turn the handle once... .....inhaled it....my hands are yakked from having to have my whole hand in her yap to get the hook out......she swam away strong....all 49 inches of her....

Took the Maina shot for Magnet...

Hopefully a sign of things to come!
