Like riding a bike!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Like riding a bike!

Post by Wall-I-Guy »

Well it's been awhile since I got the boat in the water. Hasn't touched water since my Quebec Spring trout trip :!:  . Managed to get her in this weekend. Started out Friday night for 3 hours. My son and I nailed a few fish. Finished the night with 17 total.

2 Cats
10 Walleye
3 Bass
2 Crappie

Here's Kyle with a typical 'eye taken that night.

Turns out, like riding a bike, comes back real easy :!: :D

The Crappie were a nice surprise...still have my spots :!:

The two we nailed were on the way in, decided to try for a few...sure enough, nailed 2 11 inchers :!:

Image

Well after getting our feet wet friday night, my daughter decided she wanted the seat in the boat tonight. Truth be told, Kyle's at a party :!:

Anyway, we head out at 6:30, not long after, whammo, my Sweetpea nails a nice Cat, not only that, I had one on too! Our first double header :!:

Image

Meanwhile, I'm just slaying the 'eyes, wooohoooo :!: Here's a sample of these beauties,

Image

Now Kaitlin is having a blast, partially due to the fact she also nails a nice Pike

Image

Followed very shortly after by her first 'Eye of the evening

Image

And very shortly after, a Bass

Man the kid was hot tonight. I did out duel her in the 'eye dept though 6-4 :!:

Well what a night, we managed

2 Cats
1 Pike
10 'Eyes
2 Bass
1 Muskie

I'll take that anyday :!: And so will she.....she's still gushing :!:

And who should drop by but my buddy Muskiemagnet to say hello....

and not too long after he leaves, look who drops in :!:

Image

a nice 27"...what a night...

Not too bad for 2 nights either, total about 5-6 hours :!: Man I've missed fishin'

It would appear that the fish missed you too - way to go guys!
