crazyhook's big musky

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

crazyhook's big musky

Post by Mr.J. »

Remember crazyhook?

Even though he is no longer on fish-hawk he and I are still friends and we even get to fish together once in a while if we can ever put down the beer long enough.

He is trying to teach me to get one of these this summer and one day I hope I get to post a pic of myself with one of these hogs. So far all we have gotten into the boat together this summer is pike.

Way to go crazyhook, lets go get some more.

P.S. We might be friends but he still won’t tell me what lure he was using.

Ahhhh....... the famous "Pete Mania" hold. Makes the fish look 40% bigger in photos. 8) Still a great fish however, nice job.

Please do tell me more because I always find that the photo makes the fish look 40% smaller so the "Pete Mania" should actualy balance everything out. :D

Its a common hold for Muskies to make them look bigger. Hold the head back while holding the tail close to the camera.

Definetly a very nice fish :( Nice colors and markings, no split fins or scars. :)
Any idea's on a length/girth, if I had to guess I'd say 48x21. Definetly the nicest muskie I've seen posted on the board so far this year, that is until I finally get out this weekend

Keep em comin :!:

P.S. What :? No blacked out background
