Well I have done research on Red river cats and the secret bait from what I hear is SHRIMP!

I saw a guy using shrimp about 100 feet from me....I yelled over and asked him, since he wasn't going through too much of it, if I could have a handfull for a snack.

We've got plenty of cats around here but its been 15 years since of seen one over 15lbs, let alone 30

Mind boggling. What an awesome day that must have been. Those are not only the biggest cats in Canada I've seen but the biggest posted in succession because they were caught that way. Fantastic Markus. What a bunch of great reports today with those cats and RJ's Gar.

When I saw your avatar in another thread I thought those looked like cats but then I thought, no way must just be weird lighting and those are some huge salmon. I guess I was wrong!! Makes it worth catching catfish for once
