Playin hooky with Muskiemagnet....new Canadian record?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I'll give up a bit of info so that some can try to get out there and tackle these awesome fish for themselves.....

The use of a stinger hook is critical......and lazer sharp.....

Precision casting......pin point accuracy or you'll spook em big time.....

Casting to their beek will do nothing.....as they can't see in front of them......keep that in mind when presenting your bait...

And lastly...hold on tight....  ..the larger fish went completely airborne.....and landed where the trolling motor would have been had Magnet not lifted it in...

Experiment.....

Way to go, RJ. Nice to see a trophy fish of any species released. Not always easy- especially with a potential record.

Sounds like you have a great gar fishery to enjoy- go gettem!

Leading by example.....
Had a bunch of adjectives and adverbs and all that neat stuff praising your catch, ...and decision, .....but it didn't sound right for some reason, ...so how about...

This is one of the reasons I joined this "family", .....Thank you RJ...

PS .....WELL DONE!!!! : 8)

Go figure pat caught a carp on the williams again  I've been out three times with him and he has caught easilly over 50 pike with that same lure :) ...
