booked for Lake Mattagami!"

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

i'm bringing the wife, son and dog. should make for an interesting and exciting vacation. hopefully there's lots of fish. i think my son is beginning to think his dad is a loser who can't catch anything. LOL.

my wife is gonna kill me. i just dropped 260 bucks at the tackle shop this week "preparing" for this trip.

excellent pike and walleye, smbass are plentifull and I believe there is no closed season for them. Plenty of whitefish as well. While it's easily accessible to the locals the lake isn't fished that hard. Your fail safe spot if you're having a tough time will be at the railway trestle in town. Mitch
