A Little Laker Action Report

Post by riverdog »

With warm weather coming & what looks like an early spring I decided to go all in for some lakers. A quick call to a buddy & the plan was set...lets go jig for some quality & not quantity Lakers. We arrived around 8am,'had 3 on topside in about 30 minutes...oh what a day. The action didn't stay that hot we ended up with 4 a peice but went home smiling.
Big 6" Williams Wablers were the ticket no Minnows required.

That last shot looks like something from Pulp Fiction :-)

Great job icing some Lakers. I am hoping to hit a trout lake in the next week or two if I can sneak in a trip before the ice goes out. I haven't made it out for trout at all this winter!!!
