Saturday get together?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

The Rideau River gets hit way to hard lately.......by locals!  ;)
You are just whining because there isn't enough "versatility" for you.

But yeah, it would be nice to fish another area.

We could look at Clayton lake as well. Not a bad fishery there. Big enough for a bunch of boats. Before this goes to far though maybe we will let swamp donkey figure some stuff out after all I did hijack his thread which I am sorry for SD.

I did think about proposing that as it is a nice lake for a fun fish/G2G. Only problem is that there's zero places to do any kind of lunch after, unless we all meet at a resto after.

Appleton would be another location. Parking, free launch. Bathroom. But I know that lauch can be a little steep for people with bigger boats.

There is a park that runs off Clayton lake(main launch in town) and lots of room to BBQ

I like the boater/non-boater idea :) would love to fish with a lot of you but without a boat i could only hope for it. So if this does happen sign me up for a non boater.

I would be interested but starting in 2 Saturdays from now I will start to have my daughter every second sat .... So knowing the date a few weeks in advance would help me out greatly! Sundays are always free tho! Depending on how many boats and which body of water I might jump in as a none boater !!

SSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH there is no such lake as this Clayton lake..... This is not the lake you are looking for......
