NIce Frog bassin

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Nice one.
All fishermen are liars except for you and me, and to tell you the truth, I'm not sure about you.

Nice one!!!!! Hard to beat a piggy coming out of the junk smashing a frog.
If you're gonna be stupid, you'd better be tough.

Nice! Can I ask what kind of frog you use? I have tried the Berkley Power frogs and the bass smash them but I have trouble setting the hook. I have a lot of frogs with missing limbs but not many bass in the boat to show for it. Also, I presume you tie braid direct to the hook, i.e., no fluoro leader necessary?

Thanks for any tips you can offer.

I still have never tried a frog yet. My gear can't handle the heavy junk.

Super bucket mouth....I love fishing for bass with frogs. Usually I do well, but this summer they haven't charmed the fish for me. I'm doing better with plastics. Your report reminds me to give old Kermit another go

Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.

Beauty largos bud, using various creature baits and senkos around weed edges and pockets are deadly, but the excitement of a bass exploding on a frog is incomparable.
