Keep em' coming

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Keep em' coming

Post by swampdonkey »

As walleye opens up this weekend for the body of water I typically fish , the great question returns on what to start with. It's typically a jiggin' body of water and that's all I ever really do. The odd flat lining but was just curious on what you LADIES and GENTS favorite approach for opening walleye?

I'll be bottom bouncing worms harnesses and trolling emerging weeds with cranks or harnesses.

A few from last year's opener:

I generally fish at the bottom of a dam at the opener and for a couple weekends after, so I usually fish jigs with twisters or a lindy rig with floating jig and live minnow to change it up a bit.
