Great Feedback from Ottawa Sportsman Show!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Like I don't have enough on my plate...

Tia, Sorry, didn't see that one make its way to the weigh station...

Thought about running the board like Survivor. Once a month we all get to vote someone off the island. Who's in?

This season, I will try to post reports on our Renegade Qualifiers.
If it's anything like last year, they could be short and sweet and some could also have no fish pics.
BAA - 2016 Team 18 (10 shy of 28)
Renegade Bass - 2013 Team 67 - 2014 Team 28 - 2015 Team 51
BAA (Great organization) 2011 and 2012 Team 7

That would be great Frank, it would be an eye opener for those that Renegade is foreign too. I used to do them when I fished it and they were always well received.

I have read many such reports and always found them interesting.
Especially when they contain information on techniques and baits that were used and why.
That holds true for all reports no matter what the species.

My biggest beef about F-H over the years has been about posting pics. I don't want to use Photobucket or some other pic hosting service. Uploading to the Gallery and pasting URLs into a post is a PIA. A simple "insert pic here" button that lets one select a file off the 'puter or provide a URL would be really nice.

Thanks.....

Doug,

You're a techhead with IBM why don't you write up some code to do it?

That wheel was invented many moons ago and it could very well already be in the platform that hosts F-H. Probably requires a bunch of storage to host all the pics and I'll leave that up to RJ and Luke to decide.

A bunch of storage indeed. The gallery was axed from the site for a few reasons, one being the amount of storage space it ate up needlessly. Secondly, folks were uploading everything from grad photos to bird pics in it.

Photobucket is the easiest thing in the world to use. It backs up all your photos and allows you to go back at any point to look thru your older stuff. Even have a mobile app now.

Just to the left, below the 'save draft' button

'Upload attachment'

You can then click 'place inline' and the copy paste the file anywhere in your post.

If I remember correctly, it's up to 4 pics per post.
