The Real Deal on the St.Lawrence

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

I am trying to figure out what that last one is.... Is that a large shiner of some type? I can not make a definitive assessment due to glare.
Its what the call fall fish although it looks like a silver chub I believe it's a fall fish here's one in the summer.
Yep, those are nice sized fallfish! Could not tell due to the glare an angle on the first picture.Thanks.

No problem running the Lawrnce with a 14'! The weather is key & try to avoid skinny/busy stretches of the river some of them spots will see 4' rollers just due to the constant boat traffic.

bradford2 wrote:The Larry wars... I like it haha. The only thing that would make all this better is if you were all guides. Then it would be just like Quinte

I sure do like the fish porn though, so thanks for posting it all!

"LARRY WARS" lol ....never!

Fishing must be FUN at all times, unless of course you're a sponsored PRO, can't imagine the stress and DRAMA there!
Funny that even at that level of PRO competition, and for mega dollars, you don't see any photoshopped backgrounds ( lmfao! )

But seriously, Very happy that Justin a.k.a - 'riverdog' has success. Same with "I got worms" - who has caught a number of impressive fish here locally.
It would be nice to see more guys from the local area contributing pictures, advice, and even locations to help others. God forbid our local economy would get a boost from an influx of fishermen eager to buy Food, Beer, Bait & Tackle! ;)

Try to keep in mind at all times, that here are places in this world where people are being BEHEADED - We are "ALL" unbelievably blessed to live where we do!

Keep the pictures coming!

PS: Did I mention these bad boys were caught just 30 yards SOUTH EAST of the ( green/white ) lighthouse at our Prescott Harbor? ( he he he )

Maybe FH should sponsor a genitalia measuring contest down near Prescott for you guys? It may solve this.

I'll talk to Luke.

That's a great spot! We actually pound them right inside the marina off the end of the docks in late fall on white twistertails. Best part is there's never anyone else fishing there! Just shoot me a PM if you want a map of the hot spots ;)

LOL!!

Trust me I can't possibly know any more HOT SPOTS - I'm HOT SPOTTED OUT, why do you think I'm such a "giver" lol

But ya, that inner marina dock deal is nice, nothing like having a Papa Larry's Special delivered while you're fighting in Monster 'eyes' :)

Thanks for posting your fishing pics from the Larry Riverdog, it surely is a special place. I love it as do my guests.

Not much more needs to be added here.
