Ever Had One Of Those Days?

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Ever Had One Of Those Days?

Post by beachburger »

Ever have one of those days where 3lb smallie clones will crush an old school Rebel Pop'R pretty much non-stop for 4 hours under bluebird skies on water smooth as glass?

Yeah me neither.

Until today.

In this 4 hour stretch, we swung over 30 of these 3lb clones into the boat. I lost count of the number of times I had to straighten out the rear trebles. Almost every one of them came out of 5-6 ft of water where there was a decent scattering of boulders.

They weren't all 3 lb'ers. There were a handful of 2+ lb'ers and these 4 lb'ers that came on back-to-back casts.

That was one pretty stupid day of fishing.

Thanks for reading.....

Sounds like you had a pretty good day.
All fishermen are liars except for you and me, and to tell you the truth, I'm not sure about you.

That's some day you had there. Those 2 chunky bass are real nicely patterned.
Enjoyed your report.
