A little help for where to go tomorrow

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

A little help for where to go tomorrow

Post by Lvace »

Heading out from the quigley hill boat lauch and was wondering where one would find a nice bay not to far away with some decent pike? Thanks in advance and would it be worth it to bring the musky gear around that area? I have never fished there before!!

Baie Clément straight across. The entrance is in the mouth of the Lièvre R. or Lafontaine Bay (a.k.a OPP Bay, Gariepy Marsh) east of Quigley on the ON side...or check your PMs.

How did you do there ?
Is the boat launch in OK shape now or still rough?

Got some pike but the boat launch is a nightmare!!! I got stuck, my 4wd tribute just dug right in the loose gravel. I had to take the trailer off and I finally got out!! Thank god I have a small boat and trailer otherwise I would have had to call a tow truck.
