Nice to se the site running again.
My pike and walleye opener was from the St Lawrence river as usual and I had a great opener. It all start on Saturday afternoon for some pike action and I managed to get 1 snot rocket on my 1rst cast on a white Strikeking spinnerbait then caught another pike on the William spoon 5 diamonds. Then Saturday night went for some walleye and I managed to caught the only walleye of the day at 7.6 lbs my 2nd biggest walleye I ever caught that walleye was caught on a perch husky jerk.
Sunday went at the same place for some pike and managed to caught 2 pikes once again with the biggest at 3 lbs and another snotrocket caught on a William gold wabler spoon and the other on a white and green strikeking spinnerbait and Sunday went for the walleye and caught the another walleye at 4.2 lbs caught on a silver blue husky jerk.

An old favorite... that and the half & half. Always tipped the treble with a white, chartreuse or orange 3-inch grub. With that it'd take the odd walleye too, but was great for pike, baz fish wrote:then caught another pike on the William spoon 5 diamonds..
Solid opener Baz. Spent an afternoon out myself and couldn't even come close to those sizes of walleye. Great fishing.
