1 man, a portable hut, and a world of possibilities...

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

1 man, a portable hut, and a world of possibilities...

Post by rdjprice »

Hi all,

The wife is out of town for the weekend and so I'm pretty much planning on living in my fish trap for a couple days :D

With all of the opportunities in the area, where should a guy go? I might even try out a coupe of different spots while I have the chance. I'll be starting out from the downtown area and willing to travel. I appreciate your suggestions.

Cheers guys,

Hey RJ,

I'm game for anything. Have been out for eyes on Shirley's Bay and Walleye Bay with limited results. Crappie on CB have also provided some fun.

I'm well stocked and set up for pretty much anything. I'd like to get into some good walleye numbers/size and some good crappie (but who wouldn't, haha).

Cheers,

If you wanted to go on a bit of a roadie I'd grab a hotel in Napanee on Saturday night and fish Quinte for two days......might cost ya a total of $120 for the weekend with gas, hotel and minners......one bite there could make your ice season!

If that suited your fancy send me a pm and I can give you an idea on lodging and maybe even where there may be a fish.....

My brother is driving up from Southwestern Ont next weekend and that's exactly the plan. Have done the Quinte weekend fish in the past and its always a good time.

For this weekend I'm keen on doing some more exploring around here. I gotta get a nice pic form the local water on this board.

Thx for the info offer though Rj
