Pike is pike. With a little batter, everything is better!

I hear ya.... but I was hoping that they would taste like they do from the cold northern lakes in the summer once taken through the ice down here..... Oh well
Youve never had good tasting pike until youve tasted pike from lakes north of 55degrees lattitude .... NOW THATS YUMMY!!! ... NO BATTER, just salt and pepper and there you have it! maybe a bit of onions and voila!

Nice catch, hope you have a big frying pan!
Fishing is a heritage we need to teach. Take a kid fishing! And take me too while you're at it.

Fish were mean't to be eaten...eat all the fish you want !!!!!!!
I'll go ahead and respectfully disagree.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm sure fish were meant to swim and live underwater...

That's how I eat my pike.... it happens to taste just like I pulled it right from a cold northern lake.
