Petrie Fishing

Post by samurai_ted »

Good Morning Gents.

I understand that the Bays are pretty safe right now. Does anyone know how the ice conditions are out in the main river? I was hoping to go out on the main river off the beach facing Quebec.

Many thanks

There's no ice. The main channel was wide open yesterday at the beach with large sections of sheet ice making it's way downriver after the thaw. All bays are still solid though.

Depends where you are. I was on 5-8" inches of ice over 20fow in Rockland last week, but it very much depends where you are. The river is still wide open in Masson. BE SAFE!
