What a fantastic fish! Considering some of the recent comments about people fishing bass with "Big O's", some of the sceptics should note what your dad had tied onto his line to land that lunker!!

Fantastic bass................dude!
Keeping it in the water (chain) while waiting for the camera guy to show up is commendable as well. Good job!
the only thing I catch with big-o's are overhanging trees

Great fish. That park is one of my favourite spots to fish in Eastern Ontario. It is amazing what a motor ban does for the fishing quality and the peacefulness!
Thanks for straightening out the issues yourselves on this thread everyone.

Thanks for posting the picture of a great fish.
Makes me wonder why I have never been to Frontenac park.
I love to fish.
I love to canoe.
I love to camp
There is a 7 lb bass swimming there.
Note to self;
GO camping at Frontenac next year and catch an 8 lb bass.

Nice fish and I think the smile says it all. Must have been a great fight and a shock when you got it to the canoe.

Firstly,
WOW to that enormous largemouth. I have been stalking a big one this summer with nothing exceptional to date.

Secondly,
I noticed that cover picture recently myself, Justin. Congratulations and well deserved!
