We caught a large ling(5 lbs) in march this year. I thought I had the picture, but I can't find it.

Topwater...those pic's say it all when it comes to 'odd' stuff caught through the ice. I predict that Joco will post a link for fishing through the ice in the Saguenay valley. Now that I'm French,
I may consider partaking in the festivities that the brackish tidal waters have to offer.

Well
Ive got a couple things Ive caught or seen caught
I caught a garbage bag once,, felt like your typical ice walleye.. lol
Also caught many brown bullheads aka mudpout!!!
Hooked into many trees/birch/oaks/maple who knows theyr'e wood! and a jig stealer.... lol
