bay of quinte report!(pics added)

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

bay of quinte report!(pics added)

Post by SCUBA_STEVE »

hey guys!

well i fianally made it down to the big bay!yahooooooooooo
well i got a call from jale6666 and hoff to join them down there and i was out the door like flyies on sh... got on the water around 7 am fishhed to 7 pm,my first time so i knew nothing about even what a planer board looked like, let alone know how to use one.
but jale6666 and hoff wow they where just great and knew it all i just sat there trying to take all this in,alot to learn for sure.

well we started off by..you guessed it i get first fish,oh boy, well jale noticed it first and handed me the rod wow what a thrill it was my first fish in the big waters,a nice 4 pound walleye, wasnt a monster but hey i was all smiles.then rigger went off and with confusion of who was next ......well we lost her...next jales turn he catches a sheepy...did i say he loves these fish?well he does and he got a nice one.
then hoffs turn and lucky dog gets a 7plus walleye,he was happy it wasnt a sheepy
then my turn again planner board goes and i real in my first ever shephead now i was all smiles couse this is my first sheepy :D
the hoff got his sheepy hahaha he got one.
well big fish went to jale666 he realed in a 11plus sheepy what a monster it was!
just want to thank jale666 for the use of his boat and equment and to both hoff and jale666 for putting up with a rookie and teaching alot of things!

was a blast have to get out there again! have pics but no idea how to post a pic yet.

Cool report Zort - the way you wrote, it was like reliving the action! I was rooting for big walleyes.
