Thursday fishing no longer skunked and personal best

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Thursday fishing no longer skunked and personal best

Post by Mr.J. »

I figured my next trip would be my 7th (last 6 with no fish) and it was the 7th etc so I figured I couldn't go wrong.

Placide and I decided to hit our regular spots and cast for musky.

Now a few guys around here have a pretty good head shake when they see what I throw out, modified bulldawgs, and because I have been skunked my last 6 trips out they believe they do not work. Well I never gave up on them and I got my personal best last night.

Believe it or not I got a 28 inch walleye casting bulldawgs. The proof is in the picture.

My personal best walleye, previous best was 26 inches.

Not much to say, my watch shows it was 20 to 7, hit a weed edge that goes from 4 feet to 20 feet and just cast into it.

Sounds so simple doesn't it
