Lake Nipissing conditions and hot spots

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Lake Nipissing conditions and hot spots

Post by Bigbaldbbq »

I'm headed to Lake Nipissing next Thursday. I was wondering if anybody can give me the current conditions. Are the walleye moving into the shallows yet? We are going to be closer to Sturgeon Falls, but will be able to transit around the lake. Any tips will help. This will be my first visit to the area, and I'm looking forward to it.

Thanks,
Baldy

1. Mouth of the Sturgeon River
2. Mouth of the Veuve River in Cache Bay (2.5 miles west of Stugeon Falls)
3. Travel across the Lake to :

Fisherman's Island
The Goose Islands
Blueberry Island
The Canoe Pass
Rock of Gibraltar
