Help!!!!

This is where it's all going on. One can ask for advice or general information or simply chew the fat about fishing tackle, tips, and locations.

Post by skooter »

......Uh Oh, ........

I think I've finally gone over the edge.......... :?

I was over at the "W" store after work, ....picking up a few "sundry" supplies..... 8)

I get home, .....and look what was in my bag..........

I couldn't believe it, ......so I took a closer look, .....with my glasses.. 8)

Please tell me, ....that's it's not what it appears to be, ......

I think to myself, ".......maybe Hoover left one of his spinning rods in my truck?, ...and it "fell" in the bag....."

Nope, ....the price tag is still on it, ....... :(

OH NO!!!!

......I've become a compulsive fishing shopper, ......

Everyone knows how I feel about ice fishing, ....

Never mind the cold, .....I've just always had this underlying fear that......,
I haven't been quite good enough, ...."to walk on water".

Well, ....I've got this thing now, .....so now I need your help here.....

I've got these odds and ends kickin around, .....What should I spool it up with?

Image

stren 12lb :?:

trylene XT 8lb :?:

rapala 10 lb :?:

powerpro 50lb ....(I'm guessin, this ones out)

I've also got some 12lb. "vanish" around here somewhere, ....it's probably still in the boat.... :?

So what should I use?

PLEASE!!!!,
...don't send me back to the store to buy new stuff, .......

I'm afraid of what I'll come home with this time........

I see you are using a new 25 light twinkie rig as well...

I use 2lbs for the pannies... and a real loose drag.

Skoots, just last year you were tellin me how you splurged on buyin a new lure or two, now your really learning to be a fisherman, getting caught by the tackle that catches our fish! I think the gear and lures are made to catch us the consumer the avid angler! not to catch fish! although sometimes we do luck out and catch the off fish here and there! I think maybe in your spare time you should come up with a spoon die and start punching blanks out, then paint them sell em and buy more gear with your profit! lol

take it easy old man, back to my paper on finite stress analysis! lol

Skooter, we are a support group here. In fact, we support everyone of your fishing purchases and projects.

Now, with that said, if you want REAL INTERVENTION ... TELL YOUR WIFE what you did.

Enjoy the new toys.
