FURY Rods

Just what the title says....anything and everything related to Rods, Reels, Terminal Tackle, Plastics, what others are using, what works, what doesn't work, and anything else you want to talk about regarding equipment.

FURY Rods

Post by Jimmy_1 »

Hi guys

Seems that the Dobyn's FURY rods may do the trick for me.

The 705CB should handle the cranks I throw (hoping it is not noodle-ish) and the 703SF will be good for Senkos and Texas rigs.

At $109 on the Dobyn's site I am assuming it ain't half bad!

Any advice?

Toobinator: Will you have these in stock?

The 705CB will be a nice addition, great for moving baits. Plenty of anglers also like the 703sf for fishing jerkbaits. I believe Ed has them on order, up here they should ball park somewhere around $150.

You're being watched by the Fishin' Hawk .... Don't go near his nesting chicks. 8)

On a more appropriate note .... not to highjack the thread .... everything I read about the fury rods is good.
I'm waiting to see the Fury swim bait rod. Can't go wrong for $150.00

Fury rods should be in this week. Sadly the 705cb was not available to ship yet. No date was given.

Interesting... as I'd like to get off Shimano and St.Croix sticks at a similar price point.

Never been down to visit Ed yet.

Should be a nice line up of rods, I'm waiting to go check them out myself. Dobyns also offers a great warranty/no hassle replacement policy if your a little hard on your rods  Ed has been my savior a few times when I needed a replacement before a long trip or tournament. I believe for the Fury series it will be $50 US.
