It is by far the most refined reel I’ve own to this day.
The casting distance is remarkable; the spool being a 103 isn’t quite a finesse spool (105), nor is it a spool with normal line capacity (100).
How does it compare to the so called "Poor man's Steez"? The Daiwa SS SV.
Tolerances on the Steez are just that more refined.
As previously mentioned, the Steez feels crisper in hand as the SS SV feels a tad more “sluggish”.
I’m sure a couple of upgrades on the SS SV would enhance the “sluggish” feel….maybe a clicking CC knob and upgraded drag star. (now to find out if Pro J Fishing can ship parts to our neck of the woods).
Performance wise, I haven’t noticed any difference other than the drag on the SS SV being on the light side.

Funny enough, I was just thinking on when this was goin to pop up again. I've got some rods on the wishlist, but don't know which reels are going on them.
ok, here's some of it. Some of you guys know I love soft swimbaits and Megabass so I had no choice but to get some of these. 5 and 6in Mag Drafts.

Haha, I actually told my wife that it had to come in two separate packages because they were out of stock and we're getting the rest from another shop. She seemed to buy it even though they both came today! My wife is on mat leave so I have to be careful this year. not sure how long I can use "but I gave a baby"!
I just picked up the B'n'M Black Widow rod, 20 foot telescopic crappie pole! No idea what to expect seeing how it has only 1 guide at the tip and no way to put a reel on it lol

I do want one......I know, I can't help it. It's an illness but we already established that. Some just have a more severe case!

Maybe use electrical tape to tape a reel to it? Like a Tennessee handle??
