Alright alright pipe down... that's enough of Snag .... sheeesh she catches two muskies her first time out and everyone things she is marriage material. It's a good start but it ain't everything. Sheeeesh again!
Now if I can divert your gaze to the long-awaited picture of my 45 incher as seen from Mr JP's boat. He just happened to be coming by and witnessed the rod-snapping event. This was one of the nicest, cleanest muskies I have seen in a while... not a mark on it (except a Kehoe - little joke there... very little)
Thanks for the great pic JP. And thanks for the superb netting job Markus. Even in the face of flying graphite splinters and the whiplash of broken 50lb PowerPro you managed a beautiful scoop, Pal.

Fishhawk "gotta run like a madman bye thanks see ya good luck"
Beautiful fish mike! And I have to say, it looks like its being handled very well!
I think when I held mine, there's a bit too much of a loop in the middle, my hand should have been moved a bit to support its spine. I learnt for next time.
sorry to hear you were under the weather. Hope you're back on track and doing better. Sounds like a few Hawk Talkers have been down with the nasties lately. That time of year, I guess...
W.
Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.
