Pre Fishing for Muskie at Taylor Park

Post by iankrzyzanowski »

Well tony and I figure enough boats are gonna be sitting under the 416 bridge, so we thought we would try to scope out some new spots, just in case my tin can can't squeeze in amongst the 25 other boats there!!

Well it paid of!!! After launching the boat and a quick ride up to our first spot, tony lands this beautiful 41 incher in under 5 minutes of putting our lines into the water!!!

So now I thinking its my turn now, so we boot it up to the bridge!! A few casts with am 8 inch reef hawg I see this nice muskie coming up from the deep, its gills flair and zoom right after the hawg....... she completely missed it!!!

So fish the bridge some more with no luck! So we boot it back down to where we started!!!

A few drifts and my rod starts going zzz zzz zzzz!

Fish on! Set the hook and landed this nice fat 36 incher!!

2 muskies in about 4 hours!!! not a bad day at all!!

Cant wait till saturday, cause then theres no holding back and tony and I are gonna boat, 6 more lol!!!

See you all on saturday!

Ya the shoulder seems to be fully healed, I hauled that fish in like it was a 2lb bass! I'm not sure if I'm getting stronger or the fish are getting lazier. Ransome's put up a real nice fight though, many head shakes in the CLEAR water under the boat, very cool!! By the way Markus you'll find us in the "Silver Bullet"

Great looking fish.
