walleye fillets cut in strips marinate in louisiana hot sauce for 1.5 hrs

take 1/4 cup of flour and 3/4 cup cornmeal put in plastic bag and shake

take strips from sauce let drip then shake into bag to cover.
then deep fry.!!!!

goes good with a couple of cold ones.

not as main dish but possibly as appetizers

Goes great with a good superbowl party. have guests bring their own walleye!!!!

Is that what "BYOW" means?

That recipe sounds really easy, Wallyboss. I might give it a go with some catfish fillets from the store. Hubby likes fish, and hubby likes spicy food.

Thanks, Dad, for taking me fishing when I was a kid.

Actually Wolfe it's not that spicy at all , Just gives it a really good taste.
I use Red Dot sauce and the cornmeal and flour really makes it crispy
