Seems I do more fishing than catching through the ice. Maybe some new ideas will help. I am old but never too old to learn.

I hunt a controlled hunt in December where it is shotgun only. Remington 1100 fully rifled barrel redfield 2x-7x scope. Works great.

My primary slug gun is a Remington 1100 with a full rifled barrel mounted with a Redfield 2-7 power scope. This gun is chambered for 2 3/4 only but with the high end sabot slugs it is deadly out beyond 75 yards.

Anybody know if the salmon are running out of Wellington yet?
