How much would you be willing to pay for a fishing charter for big game fish on the great lakes?

understandable, if its not going in the cooler from the start then its good to give the fish the best chance of survival you can!

I dont see nothing wrong with being out on the boat having a beer or two in the heat to relax and cool down while having a good time fishing with the boys. I think its the idiots who over indulge in alcohol that have ruined that luxury for the rest of us resposible folk.

but its not really fun or exciting to drag a fish in with heavy gear, like whats the challenge?

the one thing i dont understand is how can you land a fish and not over exhaust it, we are fighting fish with the lightest gear possible the only way to land it is for it to be near dead when it gets to the boat, and when your bringing these fish up from such deep depths the chance that they survive...

i count the anal rays its the most accurate way

The rainbow trout has 10-12 anal rays

and the brown trout has 9-10 anal rays

I dunno about you guys but a big rainbow or a big skimania is quite a handful on open water!

buy a cheap trailer kid from crappy tire then make bunks outta 2x4's and carpet them, its very cheap and brand new! they are usually at the back of the catalogue!

Just wondeirng what creeks are ok to fish in the hamilton area and what ones have a good # of salmon, trout etc running them?
