I often fish the Gatineau River; usually around Farm Point. Half the time off shore on from the *west* side, the other half in a tinny up and down a 3 or 4 mile stretch on the *east* side. Previous years, shore fishing with a Moss Mouse or CPrince Modified Boss Rat would yield 2 - 4 pike from 2 lbs ...

hey farmer DUDE! il tell you 2 fish storie .. both are true my first time @ the reservoir i caught my PB pike @ 15.8 LBS and the third time my lil brother scored a 15 LBs pike right on the dot ... BOTH pikes were on the cast ... mine was under a dock... my broyther ... under a fallen tree on shore ...

Plateau in Hull... steps away from Wally World. I used to fish Des Chene quite a bit a few years ago... but the crazy water levels are hell on props. Caught some nice Pike in there though. Welcome to the area! Lac Lemay has a butt load of Smallies BTW! I hit it on the way home from work periodically...

Just to add to Joco's post; Best kept secret in the area for Muskie.... Billings Bridge area. I have seen a LOT of Muskie come out of there. Dont even need a boat.
