Require Muskie Hunter Help
We are planning a trip up past Deep River and north of Rapids-des-Joachims on the Ottawa with a group of friends to fish for a week next summer. One person only wants to (HAS TO) go after Muskie. Do any of you know if the Muskie fishing is decent up there or not.
Thanks
Bill
Thanks

You guys might want to check out G/flex Epoxy from West Systems. It might do the trick for small holes and cracks in your aluminum boats. They make epoxies designed for boats. The manufacturer of my Kayak referred me to them as G/flex had THE epoxy to repair plastic boats. Home page: http://www.west...

Another point in favour of the plastic grips not mentioned so far and something I really like (and forgot to mention) ….. The part of the grip, on most of the metal grips, that actually touches the fish is only the width of the narrow jaws. Good chance of causing tears in the skin of the lower jaw...

I have a pair of "The Fish Gripâ€. It has a weight scale slot in its handle. All you do is attach this grip (with fish attached) to your existing scale then deduct 5 oz (the weight of the grip). No more extra holes in the fish.

Floating Plastic Fish Grips
I just started Kayaking fishing and wanted a lip gripper for pike. I do not like the look of the Rapala’s, and had a Berkley that jammed over and over again a couple of months after buy it (ended up chucking it). I wanted something else but in Ottawa those are basically ones options unless going t...

Silver Lake near Zealand Ontario
My wife wants to go to an art show this weekend in Zealand (north east of Sharbot Lake). We have gone to this the past two years. I have no interest in the show but noticed that it is right beside Silver Lake. I just got a Kayak. What is the fishing like in Silver Lake? Would it be worth my while ta...

THANKS TO ALL FOR YOUR HELP AND INFORMATION. Took the plunge and got the Western Systems Tarpon 120 Angler version this afternoon. Went to AutoRacks and bought 4 Yakima Anchor Straps. Installed two under the hood and two on the frame of the rear hatch. These secured the bow and stern for tie downs. ...

Want to buy a Kayak ....transport and wintering questions
I have picked the kayak I want, it will be a Wilderness Systems Tarpon 120. Will probably get it from Trailhead. Here is my problem. I own a 2005 Toyota Sienna that does not have a roof rack. Trailhead says that I can buy foam and straps from them to transport the Kayak with. Thinking about going to...
