Re: Bass Pro Shops
Hasn't been cancelled, it's been delayed.
Wouldn't be surprised if they cancelled it though. I Would much prefer BPS than Cabela's canada.

Re: flouro to braid knots
I've used the Alberto knot for years with not a single breakage. In fact I had the same piece of FC leader tied on my dropshot rig (to 20# braid mainline) for an entire season without an issue. x2. Re: Boxing day wishlist
I doubt anything in Ottawa will go on sale as far as Dobyns goes, don't think I've ever seen Dobyns on sale here but North Bay Outfitters had their Dobyns for 30% off last month. Actually that shop which is pretty good had a bunch of really good deals last month. Maybe check the out on Facebook arou...

It's also coming! http://ottawacitizen.com/news/local-news/outdoor-retailer-cabelas-to-land-in-kanata Didn't realize Bass Pro hasn't even started construction, I wonder if a 2015 opening is still realistic? Maybe they will cancel the plans like in MTL, I'd much rather BPS then Cabela's Canada which ...

Re: First Tiger Musky
Been thinking about picking up a Musky combo. Any suggestions on a starter setup?? Been thinking Daiwa Lexa 300 and a 7'6" Daiwa DMX H Musky rod or the 8'6" H. You're just looking for an excuse to buy them bigger swimbaits!  ;) Your right. Ideally, I'd like to get a swimbait ro...

Re: First muskie
Nice fish!
I've really been thinking about starting to target musky lately. We live in the perfect region and I am not taking advantage of the awesome opportunities to catch a fish of a lifetime.
