I've been using an X67 for 3 seasons now and have had a blast using it.

I was considering upgrading to the Gps model but think I'm more leaning
toward the H2O handheld.

Looks a we bulky for what I need it for. (ie- don't own a boat yet)

A buddy and I will be there @ around noonish, will probably fish out the launch or by the rock point (if it's been plowed)

I guess you'd need to McGuiver a bed sheet and a couple of 2x4's for a craddle if your pike fishing in Italy.

I ran 8lb Frline Crystal this past fall for walleye and had good results, can be a little hard on ceramic guides. Was tying florocarbon leaders but you don't necessarily need them. Never tried it, sounds like a newer line from them. Had a couple of "funny" (not ha-ha funny) batches of Power Pro a few years ago, so I switched to Berkley Ultracast braid and havn't changed since. Not as round as Ppro but it's never failed me and it's fairly easy on the guides fresh off ...
