Re: Best Polarized Sunglasses?
Thanks for all the contributions guys! @xped..I agree technology changes so quickly it's good to revisit. Looks like it's a race between MJ's, Costas and Oakleys. Will need to try some on to see which are the most comfortable.

Best Polarized Sunglasses?
Hey fello Fish-Hawkers, I'm looking into buying a good pair of polarized sunglasses. I'm looking for them to cut right through the water like it wasn't even there. I'm also looking for them to perform regardless if it is sunny or overcast. Price point anywhere from $100-$250. Any feedback would be a...

Re: Right or wrong???!
Fished Buck Lake this past weekend, trolling with Rapala F18's in the 8 to 20 foot range, water temp 59F. (Look 'em up...they are the big boys of Rapala originals.) Anyway, we ended up catching what we wanted (Pike) but we still caught bass too. So big lures or not and in various depths you will run...

Re: Carp and Other Suckers.
There are a ton of suckers on the Mississippi above the Galetta dam...not far up the river there are a couple of bridges. Hit the second one and keep a worm on the bottom near the shallows. Blakeney also has quite a view at the bottom of the rapids and Pakenham falls are good too. Have caught some n...

Re: The Big Rideau last Saturday
Headed out on Monday. Pretty much verbatim with us too. Tough, slow bite and then anarchy for an hour. Could see a ton of fish in a 50 foot hole but getting them to bite was pretty much impossible.

Re: Lac Heney
Fished there a few times...some good largemouth. Baei de la Mine is very good. In summer I catch them on weed edges. If you follow the bay along the eat side starting north to south you will find a definitive line to follow. Eventually you will come around heading out to the main lake and there is a...

Re: Can't figure out the Fall pattern!
Most fish I catch are roaming on the open flats although I did get some relating to structure. I wouldn't say in my situation that they were tight on structure though.

Re: Can't figure out the Fall pattern!
Tbone made a good point and one I failed to mention. We worked a spot for 10 casts...if nothing sniffed we moved on. Move often and try fast baits and then slow baits (especially with fast bait follow ups). You will eventually find them.

Re: Can't figure out the Fall pattern!
I was up in QC on Saturday. Water temps varied from 59 - 66. The first half of the day was tough, very subtle pickups. The water was extremely clear and we were sight fishing so could see the bass pick the baits up...we were letting the bait drop to the bottom and just letting it sit. They picked th...

Re: St.Lawrence river
Still Chasing - I had the same question back in July and got quite a few great responses and dialogue. Check out "Advice - Fishing fast current on the St. Lawrence" posted by mb_fishing on Monday July 7th. Quite a bit there from a seasoned crew. One thing I have learned to slow the current...

Re: To Slave For Lakers. Report.
Although the fish in your reports are great I love the pictures of the landscapes even more...this really brings life into your reports. (The stromatolites images in this report were amazing!) Would be great if you could share photo details occasionally...shutter speed/aperture etc. as you are truly...
