All that info and I forgot the water depth....... .........Very turbid and from 4 to about 10 or 12 ft. Got most of the hits in the middle of the channell, so would be about 10 ft., possibly a bit less.

Everyone should stay away from that dirty old Rideau River. Nothing there................honest..............pike all small, walleye all caught, no crappie, just rock bass and sunfish.

Steve: Casting a streamer downstream and playing it in the current is definately fly fishing. Try this with a wooly bugger or muddler in Smallmouth water during bass season and hang on to your socks.
