:D I own 2 canoes. A 17' aluminum frieghter and a 16' sportspal. I have caught almost as many nickels from the sportspal as I have from my 16' lund. They get you into some skinny water and back areas. But the older I get the more I like my comfort. 18 hours ia a canoe is hard on my back. :lol:

:D I am with Steve-Hamilton.. I expect to be carp fishing by mid March from shore and then channel cats on the Grand followed by browns and salmon on Lake Ontario.

Through the ice I would fish off the rock point in pike bay 2. I find pike move from the deep to feed shallow down our way. Usually about 3pm in the winter I will move shallow and get them. 11' to 13' worked best for me.

I have the fish TV and like it. I have used it both in summer and winter. Through the ice in clear water you get a great view and only have to turn the wire gently to get a look around. When ice fishing for panfish I can hook the cord through the tail and have the camera looking down at the bait. Yo...
