Very impressed so far with the Abu Garcia Cardinal 100u reels. Very smooth drag and do great in -30 weather. Makes me think of the Mr Buddy Dan. Propane in cold becomes liquid and isn't as effective (gotta shake the bottle to make it work properly at times). That's the only experience I've had with propane! Not sure about propane-powered engines though... Good question!
