I just bought a Signstek FF-003 (http://amzn.to/2x1VxoA). We have a few portages, so I'm hoping it's helpful in the kayak for our trip to the Park.
If nothing else, it should help with water depth.
Anyone have any experience with this model, or similar?

Re: Looking for White Lake tips
Where did you launch? There's deeper water in the main channel and around Pickerel Bay. Much of the lake is apx 10ft, and you should be able to catch plenty of 1-2lb largies in that depth.

Re: Algonquin park
Looking for some advice. I was planning a spring fishing trip, but that got cancelled, so I was wondering if the fishing is good in the fall, before thanksgiving? What did you want to target? Where in the park were you hoping to go? Fishing *can be excellent in the fall. *adds a million caveats E

Re: Weather
Same. We've had record amounts of rainfall (especially in early in July).

Re: Minnows on the way to White Lake
OPTION 1 (recommended): Get a bucket and an aerator. Buy them a day or 2 before, keep them somewhere cool and they'll be ready to go when you are. OPTION 2: There's an old guy near White Lake, in Waba, his name is Stewart Morris, he runs a minnow farm. No idea if he's up that early, but I would ima...

Re: White Big O
Hi! I've been reading recently about the famous Big O. I have a pearl one (among others) and read that the white one would be way better than a pearl one. "Oh, great, I'll have to try that!" I said... Problem is, I can't find them anywhere. Plenty of colors (like 18-20 of them), plenty of...

Re: White Lake question
Came off of here today looking for eyes. 4 hours couple eaters but a boat load of sunfish. I've just moved here and have never seen these things until now and all I can say is this is the most annoying fish I have ever encountered. Great day with the wife and kids on the water though. Wait until yo...

Re: Help: Shirley's Bay walleye
What's a white big O, may ask. Certainly one of my favorite lures of all time for numerous species. On White Lake the Pike and Bass love it. Buddy of mine uses it for lakers too. Funny enough I have one in pearl that isn't nearly as effective for some reason. Cheers I caught my first laker trolling...
