:D Sport with the exception of some salmon and trout that my dad likes for the smoker. And Jonathan likes to eat a few of his perch after ice fishing. 8)

:D Our local area is full of ice fishing locations. Valens Conservation area--bluegill,crappie, pike...and the odd stray bass. Shades Mill Conservation area...perch and pike. Little Lkae in Puslinch township..bluegill,crappie,perch,pike. Puslinch Lake..excellent pike fishing,bluegill,crappie,walleye...

:D I enjoy flipping a 3" twister in white,yellow or chartruese..usually within a foot of the bank and then working it deeper towards the boat. Using a plain jig and minnow has never failed and seems to appeal to all sizes of bass. 8)

Well a small spinner bait would work well keeping it high..I like spinners and twitching body baits in the shallows as well...or top water blade baits to wait for the explosive hit..assuming we are fishing with artificials.. :D

Head west and fish the Grand River at Dunville..lots of 6-15 pounders and you can catch till your arms fall off! Not uncommon to catch 150 lbs of cats in an afternoons fishing.
