yep senkos are a great pike bait, so are most plastics in the 6-7 inch range. i find they work best when there is a cold front but they will work most days if you work them like a jerk bait.

wow u guys sure have found a great spot . i wish simcoe was like that this year, but the little 7" perch are eveywhere this year. from 12 -60 feet of water. but that means there was a strong year class so give it a few years and we will have a lake full of jumbos

i was out infront of the huts today for a few hours in the 40' water area today and did well on the perch, they dont have huts that shallow but they do in 60 feet plus.

wish i could come to this one, but i am scheduled to work i just started a few weeks ago. but hope u guys have fun be safe and catch lots of fish!
