Matt, you've got to try the lobster stuffed baked potato. Oysters, raw and fresh, I once ate 13 1/2 dozen at an oyster fest about 15 years ago. Had to shuck them yourself, and slurp them off the half shell. Great stuff! Enjoy.

Haven't fished there, but it always looked promising when I have driven by. Where the Madawaska River crosses highway 41 at Griffith. If I remember correctly, there is a small picnic area there as well.
